Descriptive Text

 

Descriptive text is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place or thing.

Teks Deskriptif yaitu teks yang menjelaskan gambaran seseorang atau benda. Tujuannya adalah untuk menggambarkan atau mengungkapkan orang, tempat atau benda tertentu.

Bisa dikatakan juga bahwa Descriptive text adalah teks yang menjelaskan tentang seperti apakah orang atau benda yang dideskripsikan, baik bentuknya, sifat-sifatnya, jumlahnya dan lain-lain.

Struktur Descriptive Text (generic structure) adalah :

1. Identification (identifikasi) adalah pendahuluan , berupa gambaran umum tentang suatu topik.

2. Description (deskripsi) adalah berisi ciri-ciri khusus yang dimiliki benda, tempat, atau orang yang dideskripsikan.

Ciri-ciri Descriptive Text :

- Menggunakan simple present tense

- Menggunakan attribute verb, seperti be (am, is, are)

- Hanya fokus pada satu objek tersebut.

Agha Deeva Abdillah

     Hello my friends. My name is Agha Deeva Abdillah. I’m thirteen years old. I study at SMP N 2 Demak. I live at Bintoro Asri number G4. I’m the only child in my family. My father is Mr. Junaidi, he is a     teacher and my mother is Mrs. Ifana, a teacher too. We are a happy family, although we live in a simple way. My parents tell us to thank God for everything we get and never forget to pray for Him. That’s all about my family.

Bintoro Market

Bintoro Market is the biggest and the most complete one in my city. It has a four store-building. The first floor or the ground is for parking lots of consumers’ vehicles which all are parked there. The second floor is for the food courts and fruit stall. The third floor is for fashions and the last floor is for the groceries

My family always goes there to buy our daily needs. It only takes ten minutes on foot to get there. Sometimes, my friends and I spend our spare time for window shopping especially at the third floor. We just look around the shops but we do not buy anything.

Demak

        My city, Demak, is a beautiful city in Central Java.and it is famous all over the world. It is set between Semarang  and Kudus. It  gives the city many beautiful scenes, and so Demak is famous for its beauty. It is beautiful in the Mosque when the trees bud green and the Banyan trees flower with their red blossoms. It is beautiful when the leaves turn yellow and red. It is beautiful when the sunshine is bright
